Join Edible Kent as we show you how to harvest the organic produce and herbs in our garden beds.
We will be doing two rounds of harvesting instruction and discussion, both including the plants detailed here: Dandelion Greens, Oregano, Peppers, Basil, Thyme, Chard, Beet Greens, Onions, Sunchokes, Radishes, Collards, Leeks, Mint, Parsley, Sage, and more.
The class will be taught at our garden beds, by the Haymaker Farmers' Market. The first round starts at 10 a.m. and the second starts at 11 a.m. This event is FREE for all, just like our produce!
If you've been too timid to "take what you need, give what you can," then this is a great opportunity to learn about harvesting the plants from our beds and get some tips for starting your own organic garden.
